Patreon Exclusive: Tangled

Here's one for the stitch witches, named after a fantastic track by Die Laughing.

Complicated and difficult to make(like every lace project ever), this bar features 3 layers of embeds (2 custom) including a skull made of yarn, and gold knitting needles, backed by a layer of hand trimmed lace, and finished off with a colored oatmeal base background behind that.

The scent is lemon cake, heavy on vanilla, and all the scent is carried by the background color (by necessity).

I am *NEVER* making this available for general sale - it really difficult to make, so it's a true patreon exclusive but for my awesome  supporters I'm happy to do it.

The color of the background is up to you, however, you need to know there's a limited range.  Because the oatmeal base is a natural tan shade, it's *very* (really.) hard to shift.  So any color you get out of it is an earth tone.  You cant get a pure saturated color out of it.  So  as long as you're okay with fall colors, you can get a range of muted shades out of it, but understand there's limits.

Tangled is also available in mini size (same rules apply) and in the full range of body and bath products.

Soap Ingredients: Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Glycerin, Coconut Oil,  Oatmeal, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance, Activated Charcoal, Mica,  Fluorphlogopite, Iron Oxide, Vitamin E.

(will contain additional colors depending on background color. They'll be listed on the label.)

Lips Like Sugar lip scrubs are great for exfoliating your lips in preparation for wearing matte lipstick as well as removing lipstick at the end of the night. Just rub a bit on your lips, and wipe. Your lips will be soft, smooth and ready for anything.

Need something to protect your lips once you've scrubbed them clean?  Protecteur lip balms are here! Our lip balms come in the same flavors as our delicious scrubs, so you can keep that wonderful taste and scent all day long, while you protect your lips with shea butter and vitamin E.

Lip Scrub ingredients : Sugar, coconut oil, lemon oil, vanilla bean paste, vitamin e, F D & C yellow #5 & #6.

Lips Like Sugar lip scrubs come in a 1 oz. tub (30ml) or a 1/2 oz. tub (15 ml) with a teeny spoonula.

Please note that lip scrubs need to be kept cool. The coconut oil in them will start to melt at temperatures above 75 degrees (24c). You can store them in the fridge if you live in a hot climate (or during the summertime). If they melt, they'll be fine -- just cool them down again so they resolidify.

Lip Balm ingredients: coming soon (flavoring is on order.)

Soften your skin and moisturize to the next level with Beautiful Freak body butters and scrubs.

Increase the Frequency body butters are best used after a bath or shower while your skin is still warm. Though they have a light consistency, a little goes a long way, as they contain nothing but moisturizing butters, oils and a bit of starch for smooth application, along with vitamin E.  You can use them all over your body, and they're especially good for people prone to dry skin. You simply rub them on your skin so they're absorbed like a lotion.

Radiant City whipped sugar body scrubs and Nightmare Zone whipped salt scrubs are designed to exfoliate and moisturize as part of your shower routine.  They are especially good for areas prone to dryness - feet, elbows, hands and knees.  Though you can use sugar scrubs on your face, be sure to mix them with a bit of water and allow the sugar to dissolve a bit so the abrasive nature of the scrub is lessened.  You can then either simply rinse, or wash off with a water based cleanser.

All body scrubs and butters come in colored and uncolored varieties.  The salt scrubs come in a regular and extra scrubby option - the Krueger mix.  (Important:  Don't use salt scrubs on your face. The salt particles are too large to be safe. Also, don't use sugar scrubs internally. I shouldn't have to say this and yet, here we are.)
Other Important note:  The Kreuger remix comes in an 8 oz tub.  It's in the same size container as the 4 oz. original mix, but the change in proportions means it only fluffs up half as much on whipping, so it fits more into the jar by weight.

They can be made in any scent we use for soap and come in both colored and uncolored varieties.  However, to avoid listing a whole bunch of stuff that I then have to store, if you want ANY scent at all, either colored or uncolored, just send a message and I can make one for you and add it to the site.  I'm just trying to spare myself unnecessary work when I could be making other things other than posters.

These products are (very) whipped for a light, fluffy texture.  However (this is important, gang, read it.) due to this they will settle in transit.  If they are subjected to hot temperatures of over 100 degrees for too long, the butters in them will melt.

So two things:

They are sold by *weight*, not volume - just like breakfast cereal.  When I put them in the jars they are full to to very top.  But as they get knocked around in shipping, in combination with heat, they will collapse somewhat.  This is normal, and it's not something I can prevent.

If they happen to overheat in transit and melt: they are *not ruined*.  Everything that you need to get them back is still in there. Though I am happy to ship them with cold packs for the summer, this is a double edged sword.  If your shipping time is more than about two days, the packs will do more harm than good, as they will defrost and then *heat up*, increasing the heat load in the box.  If the box is going for a 1-2 day max ride, then it will work better.  I recently put no less than three cold packs in a box going to AZ and they still came out liquid on the far side. So Im telling you up front this could happen.

How to fix it if they melt or collapse too much:

While they are still warm, dump the contents of the jar into a mixing bowl.
Chill the whole bowl for a half hour in your fridge.
Use a stand mixer with a whisk attachment, a hand mixer or a hand whisk (though you'll hate whisking that long) for 10 minutes.  They will fluff right back up.
Refill your jar.

So far people have loved using these, and they've been extensively tested. If you're a body butter or scrub fan, you'll probably love them too.
