The world is just illusion, trying to change you

Illusion was one of the first products that was ever conceived for Beautiful Freak back when we were young and shiny. We had no idea how hard it would be to translate some things into being, or keep them being, for that matter.  Inspired by the song from VNV Nation.

This scent is an indulgent fragrance of amber, blood orange/sweet orange, and clove (if you crave the aroma of clove cigarettes, this is your scent, right here). Also for reasons best left unsaid (mostly, because Lee asked.) it glows blue in the dark now.

Now, on to the important bit.  Martin Oldgoth is one of the co-founders of World Goth Day.  A little while ago,  he found out he had an incurable liver disease, but that it could be slowed down, and a transplant staved off with a bunch of lifestyle changes, including dropping a day off his work week.  However, his state pension doesn't kick in for another 18 months or so, and he needs funds to make up the gap between now and then.  Here's what he has to say:

"A while ago I posted about my liver disease and how things had to change for me. Quite a few people contacted me and suggested a fundraiser to help and I said I'd think about it, but I wasn't sure I should, it didn't feel 'right', however I've since been convinced to launch one to help me out.

Illusion soaps feature the World Goth Day Logo; they are 3" in diameter and 1" thick (any larger and they'd be too difficult to hold in one hand, especially wet). The logo goes all the way through the bar -- it is not floating on top. They are hand made from original, custom molds (whose positives were custom crafted by Gothika's own Pie Zipper and then 3d printed by Eain Bankins in Los Angeles).

Minis are the same design, only 2" in diameter and 3/4" thick.

Frankly, they're freaking amazing and if they were any more goth, they'd simply explode into a cloud of bats.  

WASHCLOTHS

Thanks to a project partnership with Crazy Quilt Fiddler in Oklahoma we offer the Illusion World Goth Day logo washcloths.  These are high quality, 12"x12" square cloths with the WGD logo custom-embroidered on one side with a single stripe. Please note, the design of the stripe may not exactly match the one in the prototype photo.
