Limited Edition: Butyric Acid (20% to NARAL Pro-Choice America Foundation)
I've been sitting here staring at this page for five minutes trying to think of an explanation for how these soaps happened. By rights, they shouldn't have happened - this shouldn't even be a discussion anymore. Yet, here we are, and Im pretty angry.
The short version is that I had planned on doing this, but probably a month or two from now, when I was less buried under a stack of work that has me going 18 hours a day. But then Stoneburner and Out Out decided to cover Consolidated's 1994 track Butyric Acid and I was like "Welp. Guess I'm doing this now..." so I contacted Steven Archer to ask him what he thought, and he replied DO IT, so again, here we are. 20% of all proceeds go to NARAL Pro-Choice America Foundation, and if you haven't seen the video for the cover yet, it's right here:
The scent on these is hard to describe. It doesn't have any specific notes you can pull out individually. It smells like crisp, clean outdoor air, in the "mountain fresh" sort of vein. It's a lovely scent for bath products.
Full size Butyric Acid soaps are 3" in diameter and 1" thick (any larger and they're difficult to hold in one hand.) Each one weighs roughly 5.5 ounces (156g.) The image goes all the way through the bar- it is not floating on top. They are hand made from original, custom molds (whose positives were custom modeled and 3d printed by Eain Bankins in Los Angeles.) They also come in a pack of 3 minis (they're 2" in diameter and 3/4" thick)
This scent is also available in a sugar and salt body scrubs, body butter, and bath salts.
The soaps are made with our glycerin Shadowtime base and include activated charcoal as a primary colorant. They are most appropriate for normal to oily skin and perfect for summertime use, as they are oil absorbent.. Shadowtime soaps are glycerin based, and cruelty free. They produce large, fragrant bubbles and a luxurious feel.
All body scrubs and butters come in colored and uncolored varieties. The salt scrubs come in a regular and extra scrubby option - the Krueger mix. (Important: Don't use salt scrubs on your face. The salt particles are too large to be safe. Also, don't use sugar scrubs internally. I shouldn't have to say this and yet, here we are.)
